Once you have taken the Respiragene™ test, you will know your personal risk of developing lung cancer. Use that information to get the help you need to quit and better monitor your health.

Your Personalized Score

Smoking is undeniably bad for everyone's health, but the risk of a particular disease such as lung cancer may be much higher for some people than others. The Respiragene™ test will give you a numerical score that correlates with three different risk categories -- Moderate, High and Very high -- based on your individual genetic profile and key non-genetic factors.  The score shows your risk of developing lung cancer, compared with other smokers.  The higher the score, the higher your risk level.

While the highest risk smokers are the group most likely to develop lung cancer, smokers with a Moderate risk score must remember that they are still 20 to 30 times more likely to develop lung cancer than non-smokers.  This test only measures the susceptibility to only one of the serious illnesses associated with smoking.  A Moderate risk score does not mean it's safe to smoke!
